The Tole Booth

	The National Society of Tole and Decorative Painters, Inc., was organized in 1972 to act as a central dissemination point for information about activities related to decorative painting; to raise and to maintain a high standard for the art of decorative painting; and to stimulate interest in and appreciation for the art form.
	Penn's Woods Painters is the local chapter of the Society of Decorative Painters for Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and the surrounding counties. The chapter was affiliated by the Society in 1990 and is devoted to the advancement of decorative painting. The group welcomes painters of all levels and follows the guidelines as outlined by the National Society.
